Julie Goldring, MA RP
Registered Psychotherapist
Julie comes to the profession of Psychotherapy after a rewarding career as a Naturopathic Doctor, where she gained a deep understanding of how chronic health issues can often be based in emotions and thought processes that keep us stuck. Julie's knowledge, her passion for people and for understanding their emotional world has naturally led to a therapy practice that focuses on the whole person - Body, Mind and Spirit. Her treatment approach is designed to provide a
safe, accepting and supportive place for clients to explore their challenges, cultivate self-awareness and begin to heal with gentleness and direction.
Julie works from a Humanistic, Holistic and Integrative lens and includes a Trauma-informed approach, an understanding of Attachment Styles and of Mindfulness living to work towards wholeness. Julie is hoping to integrate therapy dogs into her trauma work in the future and has done extensive research with Canine Assisted Therapy in the treatment of people who have experienced many different types of trauma.
Julie is a registered member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Her special interests include:
