France Corriveau, OD, FCOVD
Doctor of Optometry

Dr. Corriveau received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Université de Montréal in 2008. She became a Fellow of the College of Optometrist in Vision Development (COVD) in 2017 and is pursuing a fellowship with the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA).

 

Dr. Corriveau has also been pursuing specialized training with a number of different organizations, including: the Optometric Extension Program Foundation, the Sanet Vision Seminars and the Padula Institute of Vision.

 

Dr. Corriveau serves as a quality assessor for the Ontario College of Optometrists as well as an examiner for the Optometry examining board of Canada. She is the Vice President of Vision Therapy Canada.

Dr. Corriveau has always had a passion for helping people; from serving as an in-house optometrist for old age homes across Ottawa and volunteering in Ecuador to fit glasses to children in need, for the last 8 years she has narrowed her focus on vision development and rehabilitation. In November 2020, she opened her own vision therapy practice where offers bilingual services for patients of all ages wanting to improve their visual skills and quality of life. Dr. Corriveau has a very collaborative approach and is passionate about finding the best way to help each and every one of her patients.
